We sold our most recent sailboat yesterday which leaves us without a boat. I'm sure the new owners will really enjoy the O'Day. It is a nice boat in many ways and gave us some great memories. The new owners plan to sail her on Green Bay and around Door County. Fair winds sailors.
Our checklist keeps shrinking as the days get marked off on our mental calendars. Brenda is working at pricing health insurance and I am looking into the needed boat upgrades (solar panels, cutlass bearing, propane stove) and hull/liability insurance for the Island Packet. We are just waiting on one mechanical item to be corrected on the new boat before we close on the sale. It looks like we won't be sailors without a boat for too long. We will post pictures as soon as we close the deal.
