Our good friends Jim and Joni from Wisconsin arrived yesterday. They are staying in a nearby condo so we can explore and play together. We did a quick lunch at the Keys Fisheries before they went to check in. Once they were settled in at their condo we picked them up in the Ernie T and brought them out to Wrinkles for dinner and drinks to celebrate New Years.
We had a great salad, sautéed vegetables and Pesto pasta with either barbecued shrimp or chicken. Joni brought along a few New Years decorations including a 2017 Red Solo Cup hat for Tomas. This well traveled pal of theirs seems to have an outfit for every event. Not bad for a rubber souvenir gecko.

After dinner we simply relaxed, listened to some music and caught up on our friends lives. As the sun set the Conch horns sounded around the harbor. Jim and Mike topped off the celebration with a couple glasses of Drambuie. A beautiful and memorable New Years Eve celebrated with great friends on a sailboat in the Keys. What more can we ask for?
