Is this better for local wildlife. We have been learning the difference between egrets and herons. Both are fun to watch and they both like fish! Sometimes they "bite off more than they can chew" and it is comical to see them try to wiggle around to get the fish to go down their skinny necks. If they are not careful, the scavenger birds grab the fish from them. After this happened to one bird, it just stood there and stared at the thief as if to say, "Really....really! I worked so hard for that fish and you are just going to swoop in and take it away without leaving me anything?"
We have also been watching a local fisherman who is having a blast casting and seeing what he catches. We saw him tug and pull and tug and pull and finally land a big fish called a Black Drum. It must have been 24" long and about 20 lbs.
